Wellness Activity: Silent meditation and a drum circle experience in nature Date: Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 Time: 6:00 pm Location: Peaksville Place off of Jopling Road in Bedford. Exact arrival instructions will be sent to registrants. The Pierce Street Gateway will serve as a ride-share hub from the Lynchburg area for the entire Nature Wellness Series, during in-person events. Looking Ahead: In July we'll explore environmental health at Claytor Nature Center for a Rain Barrel Workshop! We're partnering with Bedford Water for this program, and this will also be part of Claytor Nature Center's adult/family Saturday Summer programming. Saturday July 18th at 6pm. The series includes trips to Claytor Nature Center, and other various nature-based locations throughout Bedford. Participants are welcome to carpool and/or meet up at the destination, and together the group will delve into different wellness topics, allowing participants to experience the diverse healing aspects of the natural world. We invite you to embark on this journey of discovery and renewal, cultivating a deeper connection with nature and enhancing your overall wellbeing.
