SpectaculArts Future Committee Event

SpectaculArts Future Committee. We are looking for young people ages from 13 to 18 years to come and meet the SpectaculArts team, to find out how you can get involved with your community. We are using these sessions to find out what your interests and aspirations are and how we can help you gain valuable experience. We are putting together a Team to work with SpectaculArts on merchandise from design to selling. teams to become ambassadors for SpectaculArts, fund raising ideas needed and a Future Events committee and so much more. You have to book in as we have limited space. Free event.

SpectaculArts Foundation is committed to providing children and young people with the opportunity to engage with inclusive community based activities and to learn valuable skills, whilst in a supportive and creative environment .

We aim to develop a sense of pride in our local area, involve young people in the development and delivery of workshops through co-production, whilst ensuring the diversity of the local community is represented.

Together with SpectaculArts, Power In Discussion is committed to providing a series of sessions where young people have a safe space to connect with others, engage in creative activities, share concerns, work with mentors and have their voices heard on a range of topics important to them.

Each session takes on different focus and is developed together with young people. We aim to create a space for guests speakers from a variety of backgrounds and industries to share knowledge and experiences with young people. There’ll be a chance for young people to talk openly, share advice in a creative and relaxed environment, and also be signposted to external agencies/ organisations.


To provide young people with a safe space to discuss issues important to them

To provide a creative and non judgemental space where young people can interact with peers and access support from mentors and volunteers.

For workshops to be co-facilitated and co-produced.

To provide a space where young people are able to access careers advice from individuals within a related field.

To develop the communication skills of young people

To develop interpersonal skills of young people.

To promote the self esteem and confidence of young people

To promote positive, healthy peer relationships.

To develop creative skills of young people

To signpost young people to relevant external agencies/organistions.
