This workshop with expert facilitators will provide a concise legal overview and considerable practical guidance on the complex issues around the documents, processes and beneficial reasonable adjustments required for enabling and managing staff to maintain their mental wellbeing, taking account of age and cultural issues. Jon Taylor from EMW Law llp will begin this interactive workshop giving the legal background, particularly looking at useful case law on how organisations can improve their processes and work design to reduce the risk of staff experiencing mental ill health through treating them legally, ethically, fairly and compassionately. He will give guidance on good practice, explaining how improvements should be identified, explored, managed and discussed. The facilitator from a mental health charity will explain how processes can be designed to be effective in encouraging mental wellbeing.
