Create your own handcrafted ceramic charcuterie board set in this two-part workshop designed for beginners and experienced makers alike. In this class, you’ll learn hand-building techniques to form a beautiful serving board along with small matching bowls, perfect for cheeses, dips, olives, and snacks.
This workshop takes place over two sessions so your piece has time to properly dry and be fired in the kiln before glazing.

Day 1: Hand-Building the Board & Bowls | 2-3 Hour Session
Students will learn foundational hand-building techniques to shape and design a ceramic charcuterie board and small accompanying bowls. We'll explore texture, form, and finishing techniques to make each piece unique. After class, the boards will slowly dry and be bisque fired in the kiln, preparing them for glazing.

Day 2: Glazing Your Pieces
Held approximately two weeks later | 2-3 Hours
Your boards will be bisque fired and ready to glaze. During this session, you’ll choose from our studio glazes and apply color and finishes to your board and bowls. Glazing transforms the clay into a finished ceramic piece that is both beautiful and functional.

After glazing, your pieces will go through a final kiln firing. Finished charcuterie boards will be ready for pickup within about one week.
