- **Event Description**: Organised by ATW Events, these routes are a sure-fire guarantee to give you the best chance of a PB in the Half-Marathon or 10k. 

The one lap 10k course starts and finishes on the beautiful Bedford Embankment and runs out on the Embankment towards the Town Bridge. After crossing the bridge you'll follow the lazy River Ouse towards Priory Park and after completing a lap of the beautiful Priory Lake you’ll return to the Embankment and hear the cheers of the crowds at the finish line.

Those tackling the Half Marathon will head back out for a second-lap with a slight extension to make up the accurate 21.1km (13.1 mile) Half Marathon distance.

The course will have both kilometre markers for the 10k and mile markers for the Half Marathon.

The whole route is on traffic-free tarmac or firm paths and with less than 50m of elevation across the 10k, and 100m across the Half Marathon its bound to be a PB buster - in fact we'd claim it to be one of the flattest courses in the country!

This event is more than just a run. You’ll be warmed up with personal trainers, welcomed home by a professional commentator and your cheer-squad will be kept fed and watered by quality caterers while you run. Participants can look forward to a supportive atmosphere, custom-designed medals, and free event photos, as well as finish line snacks and goodies to recharge after your run. 

A fantastic FREE Family Fun Run will also take place at 8:30 am, half an hour before the half marathon & 10k!  The Family Fun Run is open to all ages however children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note: the fun run is not chip-timed and there are no results, all children will receive a medal!

ATW Transfer & Refund Policy

At ATW, we understand that sometimes plans change. While we do not offer refunds or transfers to another person, we provide a hassle-free event transfer option for those unable to attend their booked event. If you are unable to participate in your scheduled event for any reason—including injury, illness, pregnancy, bereavement, or other unforeseen circumstances—you can transfer your entry to any future ATW event. There is no proof required, we trust you!
Even better news, transfers can be made all the way up to 48 hours before your original event date.
