The Bedford International Athletics Stadium is an Indoor and Outdoor Stadium.

The 2026 British and Irish Indoor Championships will take place in the Sports Hall just off the Stadiums entrance hall. 

The weigh in will be held on Friday 6th February between 15.30 & 19.00 hours in the Bedford International Athletics Stadium sports hall. 

Saturday 7th February

Stamping: 8-00 to 9-00 in the Sports Hall

Official opening and parade of teams - 09.30.hrs pulling will commence 10.00hrs.

Weights:- 
Men: 600 & 680 Kilos
Women: 6 a side 405kg ( to be confirmed based on entries)
Mixed 4x4: 580 Kilos
Junior Weights: Depending on entries, most likely GENSB

The presentation of medals will take place at the Championship Dinner, which will be held at Swan Hotel, The Embankment, Bedford, MK40 1RW on the Saturday Night.

Sunday 8th February

The proposed Open weights will be:

Men’s 560, 600, 640 & 680 kilos
Mixed 580.
Ladies 6 a side 405 kilos
Junior GENSB weight

Pulling order – M680, Ladies, M560, GENSB, M640, M600, Mx580. 

Open Weights will be £25-00 per weight. 

Spectators welcome to come along and support the teams taking part.
