Who it’s for
This walk is women-only facing Loss or Serious Child Illness (including female adult siblings), and those who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or ectopic pregnancy.

The day at a glance
•	07:45 – Meet & kit check in Llanberis (briefing, name bands, bus tickets).
•	08:15–09:00 – Sherpa Yr Wyddfa bus to Pen-y-Pass (services S1/S2/S5; check timetable).
•	09:15 – Start up Pyg Track.
•	12:30 (approx.) – Summit of Yr Wyddfa (1,085 m) – break, photos, snacks.
•	13:00 – Descend the Llanberis Path.
•	14:30 – Free hot or cold drink at the Halfway Café
•	15:00–17:30 – Finish in Llanberis for debrief, hot drink, goodbyes.
Distance & Ascent (approx.)
Pyg Track one-way ~5.5 km; Llanberis Path one-way ~7.25 km. Total ~12.8–13.5 km; ascent ~750–900 m.

Transport & Parking
Please park in Llanberis and use the Sherpa’r Wyddfa bus to Pen-y-Pass, We will check the Summer 2026 timetable close to the day.

Difficulty
Challenging mountain day on rough, rocky paths with short steep sections (Pyg), then a longer, steadier descent (Llanberis). Good fitness needed; typical time on trail 6–8 hours.

Safety & leadership
Guided by qualified, insured, female Mountain Leaders. We operate a supportive pace, frequent regroups, and dynamic risk assessment throughout. If weather deteriorates, we may shorten or alter the route (e.g., return to Pen-y-Pass or descend earlier).

Free. Mountains With Memories covers leadership and planning; Plus a Free hot or cold drink, you cover personal travel/food/bus fares.
