We immerse ourselves in cold water several times every day. We prepare by warming up through walking and use specific breathing techniques that strengthen us and reduce the shock of the cold. By working with intention, focus and mindset, it turns out that we can do much more than we think.We land within ourselves, in the here and now, gather in a circle, share our truth and stories, and go out to meet the elements. We see ourselves reflected in those elements. The rugged nature of Snowdonia opens our senses. We use silence and ceremony. Cold water helps us connect more deeply with conscious and unconscious parts of ourselves. Deep lakes, wide seas, high waves mirror our own dynamics.We deepen our breath with different techniques. We unite depth with lightness and humour. Back in the circle, we use creation and imagination to give meaning to our experiences. We leave behind what we no longer need, and move step by step towards our true nature: Back to (y)our nature!Five days in a both challenging and safe environment, without distractions, under the guidance of 2 experienced and skilled counselors / cold swimmers. To immerse yourself, not only in cold lakes but also in the overwhelming beauty of the Welsh landscape, so that you can reconnect deeply from within.Location and programWe are guests in the house of Trigonos (www.trigonos.org), located on Lake Nantlle, where we can take the morning swim after meditation and yoga. Back after the dive, fresh coffee or tea and a good breakfast are waiting for us inside. We gather in a circle in the group room to clarify our intention for the day. With a packed lunch in our backpack we set off. In the evening a marvelous vegetarian dinner is waiting for us (the kitchen of Trigonos is a true treat).
