Come to Cwmystradllyn to feast your senses this summer. You’ll hear an interesting presentation about the local slate industry and the lives of the quarry people by Dr Dafydd Gwyn, see a slate-splitting exhibition by the Slate Museum, feel the beautiful slate carvings of Meic Watts, and have the opportunity to enjoy a light lunch, homemade cakes or cream teas of Tyddyn Mawr Tea Room. This year will be the last season for the Tea Room, and we would like to thank the owner, Kath Keir, for her care of the cwm, it’s inhabitants and visitors over the years.

The event on 4th July is in two sittings; choose your time and follow the appropriate link to book your place on Eventbrite, where you can also book in-ear simultaneous translation service.
