Easter Vigil

You are warmly invited to celebrate the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 4 at 9:00pm at St. John Church—the most sacred and powerful liturgy of the entire Church year. This beautiful night begins in darkness and unfolds through Scripture, fire, water, incense, and song as we recount the story of salvation and proclaim Christ’s Resurrection. During the Vigil, new members are welcomed into the Church through the Sacraments of Initiation, and the faithful renew their baptismal promises, bearing witness to the hope of Easter. The liturgy is longer than a typical Mass and rich in symbolism, inviting us to slow down and truly enter into the mystery of this holy night. All are encouraged to come and experience the joy, reverence, and awe of the Resurrection together as one parish family.
