Encountering God through Writing

What to expect: Look at Bible passages, think about how God may be speaking to us, and use our writing skills to explore this, the emphasis will be on listening well.

Do you have a gift of communication? You write, and you’d like people to read what you’ve written? A prophetic writing gift that needs fanning into flame? Or maybe you enjoy experiencing God as you express yourself in a personal diary?
Whether you journal, write for the church magazine, or are working on your memoir or first novel, come along to a lively and Spirit-filled retreat day/three days, with room to listen, reflect and re-imagine what God may be saying.

There will be time for questions, prayer and contemplation with award-winning author Sheila Jacobs. Sheila is also an experienced editor working for UK Christian publishers and loves to help new writers hone their potential and has recently completed a course in spiritual direction.
