Crenshaw is a master in the mediums of rap, poetry, spoken word, lyricism, and call and response. Explore how to utilize the time and space of an instrumental beat and rhythm, as we use our voices and lyrics to say something powerful, original, memorable and transformative.

This is both a class and a workshop. Participants will learn techniques for writing, practice writing their own rhymes, and share their work with the class.

Mic Crenshaw will lecture, facilitate Q/A, teach and perform. Writing utensils and something to write on or with is required.

This event will take place in The Lab and is FREE with reserved seating.
