This new adaptation by Alisa Stewart will bring audiences inches from the ambitious doctor and his creature, inside the world in which they live. Told from the point of view of Margaret Saville, you’ll witness the creature’s journey of discovery and loneliness, and Dr. Frankenstein’s determination to hunt down the terrible, murderous experiment that he created. The Story: The story follows Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who becomes obsessed with the idea of creating life. He sets aside his relationships with his family to focus on being the first to bring a being to life using methods of reanimation, but is horrified by the Creature's appearance and immediately abandons it. The life of the Creature becomes a tragic one as he is rejected by society and struggles with isolation and the need for companionship, leading to its descent into violence and vengeance against its creator and his family. In this adaptation, we explore the human need for connection, the pain of isolation, and the complex relationship between creator and creation.
