All are welcome.About this EventA fun and supportive hybrid in person and "virtual" song circle to practice projection, voice control and coordination through the joy of singing! Each session will start with a practice vocal warm-up and then sing your favorite songs with guitar accompaniment.Instructors:Kera Magarill is trained in classical cello, music therapy and improvisational singing and she loves community music-making. She has led “Choir for the Tone Deaf”, a program for community singing for the Denver Public Libraries and she was the creative director for “The Dementors: An Alzheimer’s Association Band”. She currently works for Washington County Health and Human Services, as a Mental Health Promotion and Prevention Coordinator and is deeply interested in the relationship between music and mood.Jill Williams is a social worker with Multnomah County. She has been playing guitar since college and is mostly self taught. Jill enjoys singing and playing in small groups with other acoustic players, at open mics and back yard parties. Her musical interests are diverse with a heavy emphasis on 70's-80's rock, pop and folk music. She also loves Americana and good ole country music. Her friends call her "B-side" because of her tendency to pick deep cuts and lesser know songs from popular bands! Jill has enjoys the gang from PRO and looks forward to when she can sit in a song circle with all of you.
