That's why individuals, families and communities should take steps to "Be 2 Weeks Ready."Join us on Jan 19, 2026 for a free, in-person workshop to learn how to help your neighbors, club, or other community group get prepared using the Be 2 Weeks Ready curriculum, a program developed by the Oregon Department of Emergency Management.This program is designed to help you and your community start from where you're at and build your self-reliance and community preparedness step-by-step. It includes a free activity book filled with helpful hints, fun projects and resources to help you and your community prepare for a disaster.Using the Be 2 Weeks Ready Toolkit, trained Neighbors Ready! volunteers will review, discuss and teach practical steps to prepare you for emergencies and disasters.
