- **Event Description**: Are your littlest history buffs between ages 11 and 14 looking for some fun this summer? Preservation Virginia is excited to host this three-day summer camp at our historic property, Patrick Henry’s Scotchtown in Hanover County.

Campers will enjoy dedicated access to Scotchtown and engage in many hands-on activities and historical demonstrations. In addition to trying their hand at archaeology and 18th century historic foodways, campers will also participate in make-n-take crafts and more traditional summer camp favorites.

Pre-packaged/single use morning snacks will be provided, but campers are expected to bring their own packed lunches and water bottle each day. Spaces are limited and advanced registration is required. Contact plaird@preservationvirginia.org with additional questions.

Senior Kids Day Camp (Ages 11-14) | $120/child; $100/Preservation Virginia Member child
Three days of activities from July 21-23, 2025.
Session each day from 9:00am-2:00pm.
Morning drop off from 8:30am-9:00am.

For a full refund, cancel before June 22nd.
Cancelation before July 10 results in a half-refund.
No refunds available after July 10.
