This workshop will be held live in the studio and online through Zoom.  
Learn self-care practices to mindfully nudge the body towards healthier alignment and improved range of motion.
We all carry tension in our neck and shoulders. Chronic tension can lead to misalignment which affects the whole spine. The way we sit or stand, repetitive movements, and stress all contribute to tightness and pain. We tend to carry our shoulders and head forward which causes the the low back muscles to work overtime and then pulls the entire body out of balance. Though this workshop targets the shoulders, neck, and upperback, the lower half of the body will benefit from the release and re-alignment of the upper body. This workshop will help you ease the resistance and unease in your shoulders, neck, and upperback caused by constant use of mobile devices and/or driving a vehicle. It will give you exercises to help maintain freedom in your shoulders if you sit at a desk all day and are hunched over a computer screen. It will provide tips and tricks that you will take home with you to eliminate headaches caused stress.

This workshop will utilize Yoga props and is appropriate for all levels including those new to Yoga. The final 30 minutes of this workshop will include a soothing Yoga Nidra practice.
