Learn the basics of decorating your ceramic works with slip trailing! Slip trailing is a popular potter's technique where slip (liquid clay) is applied to the surface of a piece to create raised textures and designs!

Students will make slab coasters/tiles at the beginning of class to try out slip trailing Techniques.

**Feel free to bring pre-made pottery that is still workable (not leather-hard or bone dry) if you would like to use that as your tool for learning and exploration. HOWEVER, surfaces of pottery should have large flat areas on which to work.
