SJO Cares is honored to announce our 1st Annual Shon Owens Veterans Memorial Golf Outing, to be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Beaver Valley Golf Club. This special event is dedicated to honoring our veterans, celebrating the life of the late Shon Owens (veteran), and raising vital funds to support programs that uplift our community through the Gracefully Broken Widows Retreat, the Shon Owens Young STAR Awards (formally the Beaver County Young STAR Awards), Shon Owens Unity Week, Kingdom Living Seminars, and so much more.
We are looking for businesses and individuals to partner with us as a sponsor for this meaningful event. Your sponsorship will help us provide a memorable day of golf, fellowship, and community spirit; while also ensuring that we can continue our mission of service and youth scholarship opportunities.
In addition to sponsorships, we also welcome donations of raffle prizes, auction items, or in-kind support to enhance the outing experience.
We are also looking for volunteers. Anyone who would like to volunteer the day of please contact us. We will also offer volunteer hours for graduates.
And of course, we are looking for golfers. We can’t have a golf outing without you.
