Perfect for beginners, this course is designed to help you develop confidence on the pottery wheel while learning essential techniques in a fun, supportive environment. Over six weeks, you'll receive personalized instruction, plenty of hands-on practice, and the opportunity to create functional pottery from start to finish.
Your course includes:
6-week program
5 instructor-led wheel throwing classes
1 glazing class during the final week
2.5 hours of instruction each week
Step-by-step guidance from experienced pottery instructors
Hands-on practice learning to center clay, throw, trim, and refine your pottery
All clay, tools, and bisque firing included
2 complimentary hours of open studio wheel time to practice between classes at your own pace
Throughout the course, you'll build your skills while creating a collection of unique handmade pieces. During the final class, you'll glaze your pottery to prepare it for its final firing. Glazing is available for $7 per piece, plus a $5 studio fee.
All ages welcome – no experience necessary!
Need a different time? Private appointments are available!
