Mahjong is more than a game — it’s an experience that brings people together around the table. Our lessons are designed to make learning approachable, fun, and confidence-building so you can begin enjoying Mahjong with friends and family right away.

Each class lasts approximately 3 hours - this is premium, small guided learning experience. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Class will start promptly at 6pm.

All materials needed for learning, just bring your fabulous self — we’ll take care of the rest!

What You’ll Learn in Mahjong 101- Mahjong 101 introduces the essential foundations of the game, including:
• A brief history of Mahjong
• Rules of play following National Mahjongg League (NMJL) guidelines
• Tile identification
• How to read and understand the NMJL card
• Table etiquette and game flow
• The Charleston (tile exchange)
• Playing your first hands of Mahjong

Depending on the pace of the class, participants will usually play one or two practice games.
