Girls’ Haven is proud to announce the official ribbon cutting for its new residential campus, a state-of-the-art facility believed to be the first building in the State of Texas designed and constructed specifically to operate as a General Residential Operation (GRO) for foster youth.
The ribbon cutting will take place at 4:00 p.m. at Girls’ Haven’s new location:
3460 Fannin Street, Beaumont, TX 77701.
Members of the media, community leaders, donors, and the public are invited to attend and tour the new residence.
Unlike other facilities that were originally built for different purposes and later adapted or grandfathered into General Residential Operation standards, the new Girls’ Haven residence was designed from the ground up to meet and exceed GRO requirements. Every aspect of the building—from safety and supervision to therapeutic spaces and communal areas—was planned with foster youth in mind.
Special guests in attendance will include Mr. Penland, Sr., the Duplissey family (owners of M3Ranger, the contractor for the project) as well as several major donors who helped make the vision for the new residence a reality.
The event will feature brief remarks, the ceremonial ribbon cutting, and guided tours of the new building, highlighting how the design supports trauma-informed care, healing, and long-term stability for foster youth in the region.
We are also still accepting donations to capital campaign for new building until ribbon cutting date!
Girls’ Haven invites the community to join in celebrating this monumental milestone!
