- **Event Description**: The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council is hosting a region wide townhall on March 2nd from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. This event can be attended in person or virtually through Zoom. We will have speakers such as United States District Attorney Brit Featherston, Drug Enforcement Administration Agent Jason Wheeler, & CEO of Woodlands Recovery Center Kim Arrington. There will be education on how to use Narcan to save a life and how to get Narcan. These speakers will be discussing trends they are seeing as well as highlight the efforts being taken, such as the “One Pill Can K*ll” campaign. We invite politicians, other community agencies, teachers and administrators, concerned community members, law enforcement, and emergency first responders to attend this event.
