Join the Beaumont Heritage Society at the 1845 John Jay French Museum for Homeschool Days, a brand-new way to learn about history in one of Beaumont’s most historic locations!

AUGUST HOMESCHOOL DAYS: “ORAL HISTORY”

In our August Homeschool Days program, students will learn all about oral history-what it is, why it’s important, and how it helps us preserve the past. Following the lesson, students will begin their own oral history projects that they are encouraged to take home and use to collect family stories. This program is recommended for students ages 6-12, but students of all ages are welcome!

“Homeschool Days – Oral History,” will take place on August 13, 2025, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on the grounds of the John Jay French Museum. The session costs $5.00 per student and includes a history lesson and related activity. Please complete your form and payment below. Spots are limited!
