Applying fertilizer now will allow them to come out of dormancy healthy.About this EventDuring this class we will discuss what signs and symptoms to look for to tell if your plants need to be fertilized.  Plant will often give us some indications when they are low on nutrients. We will also discuss when the best time to fertilize is for trees and shrubs.  As with anything else, timing is important. We will talk about different types of fertilizers and why we might use those different fertilizers or why we might want to use something different. If time allows, we will discuss how to determine how much fertilizer to apply to a specific area.
