The textures of the weathered wood, the dry dusty quality of the sun bleached shells and the carefree days of sitting by the dock listening to the wind blowing through the pine trees while the grass bugs chirp in the marsh and chains are clanging against the outriggers of shrimp boats rocking gently at the dock. The paintings in this show express all of these feelings.
