Trailside's March Hike

- Silvermine parking lot to Stockbridge Shelter Shelter, via Menomine Trail

* Please note !- venue listed on event brite is not accurate, we are meeting at the Silvermine Parking lot along Seven Lakes drive. *

We will meet at the Silvermine parking area (1.5 miles west of Long Mountain traffic circle). We will hike South, parallel to Seven Lakes Drive for a while then cross. The trail skirts Lake Nawahunta before beginning a slow moderate climb uphill. We will intercept the Long Path trail and briefly head north to the Stockbridge shelter, and then south to the “Hippo Rock”. Total elevation gained is around 520 ft.
