We’ll be pulling invasive plants, cleaning up our trails and doing some native planting! All ages welcome, children 15 & under must be accompanied by an adult.

Location – Volunteers can park at the main facility area of Bear Mountain State Park. Just mention you are volunteering for I Love My Park Day, and you will not have to pay for parking. Walk to the zoo entrance by following the signs from the Bear Mountain Inn area. Sign-in will be at the entrance to Trailside Museums & Zoo. If you need accessible parking, please contact TrailsideEducation@parks.ny.gov or 845-942-3861.

What should volunteers bring? Please bring water in a refillable bottle, sunscreen, sturdy shoes and your favorite work gloves (gloves will be provided for those that don’t bring them).
