After the hike, warm up in Fielding Estate Winery’s heated wine domes for a truly distinctive tasting experience. Set against the backdrop of the Beamsville Bench, you’ll enjoy a curated selection of Fielding’s wines in a cozy, private setting that blends comfort with character. The contrast of crisp winter air and refined local wine makes for a memorable afternoon that pairs adventure with indulgence—an ideal way to experience Niagara in the off-season.

Meet at 10:45 am at Fielding Winery. Park in the lower parking lot away from the winery, near the grape vines.

Snowshoes provided.
No snow. No problem. We’ll hike the same beautiful trails instead of snowshoe.
Distance: Approx 4-5 km
Hike Level: 2-3 (novice with some hiking experience to intermediate)
Fitness Level: Average to good. Able to hike for at least 6 km on uneven terrain and single track forest trails. Snowshoeing is a great workout so be prepared to get sweaty.
Terrain: Some inclines and declines, uneven surfaces with rocks and roots, single track trails.

The expedition runs snow or shine with the exception of extreme cold, high winds, blizzard or wet conditions which make it unsafe. If we need to cancel, you’ll have the choice of a full refund or to attend a rescheduled date.
If you cancel the event at least 48 hours in advance, you’ll have the option to receive either a credit for a future event or a refund, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable, and no credits will be issued.
