- **Event Description**: Join us for this year’s Moosabec Summerfest 5K Road Race & Kids’ Fun Run on Saturday, July 4th, 2026!

Both races will once again be held on scenic Great Wass Island (in the town of Beals), beginning and ending in Backfield Park. Day-of registration & pre-registration check-in will take place from 7:00-7:50 AM; the Kids’ Fun Run will start promptly at 8:00, with the 5K to follow. Awards will be presented to the top male & female overall finishers for both the Fun Run and the 5K, as well as the top male & female finishers in each age category for the 5K. 

Those wishing to receive a t-shirt must pre-register by Saturday, June 13th. The cost to pre-register is $35 for the 5K and $25 for the Fun Run. Email Event Chair Carol Anthony at carol.smith1397@gmail.com to request a copy of the pre-registration form. 

Day-of registration will also be available (no t-shirt included), at a cost of $15 for the 5K and $5 for the Fun Run.
