# Event Details - **Event Name**: Biodanza Beach Day & Dance: LBI-odanza! - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 29 Aug, 2026 at 10:00 am – Sat, 29 Aug, 2026 at 09:00 pm - **Event Description**: Let us savor the remaining resplendence of this solar season! To that end, it would be our great delight to have you join us for a sun-kissed Beach Day in celebration of our community’s first anniversary! We gather on Saturday, August 29th, on the beautiful Long Beach Island, to commune, connect, and catch the last rays of peak summer. Then, at the golden hour, just before sunset, we’ll enjoy an oceanside vivencia. (And this part wasn’t planned, but Biodanza is witchy in these ways…it just so happens that we will be in the presence of a full moon eclipse! So a lunar spectacle rising over the water will be our sweet finale!) The Flow of Our Day 10:00 AM on — Arrival & Connection: Settle into the sand, share a beach picnic, swim, commune, play, etc. 6:30 PM — Golden Hour Vivencia: We dance! 8:15 PM — La Luna: A sacred spectacle as the full moon rises directly out of the ocean horizon. What to Bring A bathing suit, towel, blanket, chair, sunscreen, and a change of clothes in case it cools off later. Feel free to bring boogie boards, paddle boards etc. Snacks and food to nourish yourself. If you have particular dietary needs, please make sure you bring what will sustain you. If you’d rather order island fare, bring money to pitch in for a community meal (there are plenty of local options and we will plan to have a late lunch/early dinner in between 4-5ish before the dance). Plenty of water to stay hydrated. Your vibrant spirit and a willingness to play! I will be sending out all of the specifics regarding exact address, parking info, and orienting details once you RSVP. Our “home base” for the day will be a private residence two blocks from the beach. You will have access to bathrooms, showers, a fridge etc. We also have some extra chairs, floats, boards, games, and a ping pong table. If you need a break from the sun, hanging out at the house IS an option! Please keep in mind that a great deal of planning, preparation, and coordination are going into this event.
