This day is not only to honor our Veterans and fallen heroes of the North Shore, but to honor all those that have served, are serving, and those we have lost.

We would like to encourage anyone willing to join us - anywhere on our route - to cheer us on or just run some miles.

As always, we will still be splitting the day up into two parts, ending with a 5k run through Glen Cove and visiting the Veteran memorials through the town.

Part 1 will start in Bayville and travel through much of the North Shore in Nassau County. We will be stopping at Veteran memorials throughout our journey to place flowers and wreaths. We will end at the VFW Post 347 - 15 Hill Street, Glen Cove.

Part 2 will be a 5K (actually 3.2 miles). We will start at the VFW Post 347. This course will take us to the memorials at Morgan’s Memorial Park, Memorial Park on School and Brewster Streets, and the Glen Cove Library, finishing back at VFW Post 347.

Please consider donating to Team EVA - a 501(c)3 Non Profit - as we continue to raise money in support of the Veteran’s organizations on Long Island.
