Glenda will lead you through the process of creating abstract paintings using collage. Materials used will include acrylic paints, handmade collage papers (supplied), and found papers from magazines.
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking for a fun and creative afternoon exploring new artistic techniques. Participants will experiment with unusual materials to create interesting texture elements in their paintings and learn new ways of representing elements within landscapes.
You’ll be working with materials you likely already have at home-- things like basic art supplies, old magazines, or inexpensive items you can easily pick up at the dollar store. No prior experience is necessary.
Participants will receive details on how to come prepared with supplies.

Glenda Bartlett is an experienced artist and art teacher in various disciplines. Her mixed media work explores the various nuances of nature. 

Glenda was born in Corner Brook and has now settled in Conception Bay South where she teaches and has her art practice. Glenda has been studying and practicing art for the past 30 plus years.
