This holiday season, let’s come together as a community to share what we have and help each other out!
We’re putting together a Free Yard Sale / Holiday Exchange — a day where people can donate clothes, household items, and other things they no longer need, and others can come “shop” for free. No money for items, no strings attached… just neighbors helping neighbors.
**monetary donations towards our mutual aid efforts are always appreciated but not required.**
We all have stuff sitting around that we don’t use anymore, and there are plenty of folks who could really use it. Instead of buying more and feeding into all the holiday consumerism, let’s share what’s already here and put it to good use!
What You’ll Find:
* Tables of free clothes, household items, and more — take what you need!
* A “Meal in a Bag” station where folks in need can pick up a bag of ingredients for an easy meal, plus a simple recipe sheet.
* Contact cards for helpful organizations/nonprofits, so people know how to reach out if they need more support or want to get involved.
* A gift wrapping station!

Community Connection Table-
Since we will NOT be collecting LARGE items at this event- we’ll have a spot where people can write down something they need (like a dresser, kitchen table, etc.) along with a way to contact them. That way, if someone in our community has an extra item later on, we can help make the connection.
