- **Event Description**: We're FINISHING up the paint in the Blue Room Auditorium! 

Our main event space, the Blue Room, is the jewel of the HMT, but the walls need some TLC, and we're inviting you to join in on the fun! So many of you have told us "It would feel so satisfying to paint that patch on the wall" over the years, and the time is now!

Paint, rollers, drop cloths, and brushes will be provided, but if you've got a lucky painting implement, feel free to bring it along. We will also be providing N95 masks and gloves (as well as zip up PPE suits for anyone scraping paint) but again, feel free to bring anything of your own. 

Many hands make light work, so any ability level is welcome! Some of the paint jobs will be up in the balcony, so those who aren't afraid of heights are especially welcome! There are plenty of small projects around the building that could use a hand if we end up with an excess of people.

This is a great opportunity to get in volunteer hours, so please bring in any paperwork you might need signed. 

Refreshments will be provided, but you may want to bring a water bottle as the HMT is not yet air conditioned.

PARKING INFORMATION: As of October 1st, 2025, the parking lot on the corner of Madison and Center belonging to the Osgood Building (formerly the Scottish Rite) will no longer be available for patrons of the Historic Masonic Temple. Available parking for HMT Events includes:
6th Street (South Side of HMT)
Center Avenue (in front of Wirt Library)
MCI Insurance (across Madison Ave)
Pyramid Paving
Public Lots on 5th Street
