✨ You’re Invited! ✨
Join us at Baxter Springs High School on February 7th, 2026 for a special fundraiser Luminaria Walk, hosted by the Baxter Springs Leo’s Club. They’re calling this heartfelt event A Walk to Remember.
All donations raised will go directly to the Ronald McDonald House, helping support families in need during some of their toughest moments. ❤️
What is a luminaria walk?
It’s a beautiful tradition where pathways are lined with glowing paper lanterns. During our event, each guest will receive a white paper sack to create their own luminaria. You’ll have the option to write a name or message for someone you want to honor or remember. Once finished, we’ll provide a battery-operated tealight candle to place inside your lantern.
Inside the large gym, you’ll set your lantern along the designated pathway. Then, you’re invited to walk the softly lit route around the gym, taking a moment to reflect, remember, and celebrate the special people who have touched your life.
This is a come-and-go event, designed to be peaceful, meaningful, and flexible for your schedule.
We’ve also planned ahead for any February weather—so rain, snow, or cold, the walk will take place indoors in the large gym.
This event is a service project organized by the Baxter Springs Leo’s Club for the 2025–2026 school year, and they’re excited to share this uplifting experience with the community.
It’s a simple but powerful way to bring people together, honor loved ones, and enjoy the glow. 🕯️✨
We hope to see you there!
