Summer Cooking Club

Join us for our inaugural Summer Cooking Club!

All students in rising 4th-12th grades are invited to attend all four classes, or just the ones they choose. We will experiment with recipes, get in a little nutrition education, and have heaps of fun!

June 18 - Brownies 3 Ways
Three different recipes and some surprise, nutrient packed ingredients! Blind taste test at the end to pick the favorite.

July 2 - Red, White & Blue(berry)
Patriotic treats featuring summer's favorite fruit!

July 16 - Smoothies & Shakes
Everyone gets to make a custom order cold beverage, but they'll have to pedal on the blender bike to get it!

July 30 - Mac & Cheese, Please!
Macaroni and cheese and other classic favorites - microwaved!

Registration for each class is $10 per participant.
Sign up at least a week in advance of the program date by contacting the Appling County UGA Extension Office: 912-367-8130.

Classes 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ the Extension Education Building, 85 S Oak Street, Baxley.
