Cascade Sports Car Club's Road Rally program (aka Cascade Geargrinders) offers beginner-friendly time-speed-distance road rallies, lasting three to four hours, starting and ending in the Portland area. Road rally is a game you play while going for a drive in the country. Play the game that takes you places.

The August 2 rally is the fifth of six in the Cascade Geargrinders 2025 Saturday Road Rally Series. Teams who run three or more of the six rallies are eligible for Series Awards.

$25 per car for CSCC members (either driver or navigator is a Cascade member)
$35 per car for non-members

Zoom Q&A meeting: 7 pm to 8 pm

First car out: 10:01 am
First car arrives at finish (approx.): 1:30 pm
Prizes awarded: soon after all teams finish
Results emailed Saturday evening or Sunday
Entry requires a street-legal vehicle, a licensed and insured driver, a navigator, and a smart device (e.g., cell phone or tablet) running the Competitor Richta GPS Checkpoints app (app is free).
