This class covers Michigan gun laws, firearm safety, and the legal steps required for CPL certification, plus hands on instruction at the range so you can learn how to shoot with confidence.You will be taught by Black instructors who understand the importance of safety, dignity, and community:Robert Hollis and Dion Jones, a proud Black Girl Joy member.No pressure. No posturing. Just knowledge, skill building, and community.Who can attendBlack women ages 21 and overWhat is included• CPL legal education• Firearm safety and handling• Hands on range instruction• Instruction by Black certified instructors• A safe, respectful learning space• A full Lunch and snacks will be provided• Carpooling encouragedPricingBlack Girl Joy Members$100 for the dayNon Members$125 for the dayPayment is collected after registration.
