Chef and Tea Sommelier Anne Milneck will lead this fun, informative talk and tasting on tea. Explore the world of tea with Anne and taste different types including black, green, white and herbal. We'll explore both single origin and flavored teas. You'll walk away with an understanding of the Camellia Sinensis leaf and the difference between a tea and tisane. You'll learn about water temperature, steep time and the tools needed to steep the perfect cup of tea.

We will taste 12+ teas while exploring bitterness, astringency and tannic qualities in tea. You'll walk away with a solid grasp on how to steep every tea plus learn about the wellness qualities of traditional teas and herbal tisanes.

This is a sit, watch, learn and taste demo. All students receive a store discount.

This class is for participants 13 and up. Teenagers must be accompanied by an adult; both the teenager and accompanying adult must purchase a class seat.

CLASS TRANSFER POLICY: No Refunds. If you are unable to attend this class, you may request a transfer to move your reservation to another class. However these requests must be received seven (7) working days in advance of the class date. If your request is made after seven (7) working days, we will not be able to accommodate your transfer request. You may, however, pass along your place in this class to another person. Planning and staffing takes place well in advance of each cooking class; therefore, we are unable to offer refunds.
