Raised in poverty and the first in her family to graduate from high school, Charity returned to school in her mid-20s to study physics while expecting her first child. Just as her life felt complete, she experienced what she calls “The Worst Day,” a loss that shattered her world.With the support of friends, mentors, and her own unyielding determination, Charity finds her way back to the distant galaxies where she feels most at peace.
