LSU Symphony Orchestra Presents: "King of Instruments"

In a must see concert, the LSU Symphony launches with works deep in meaning, and majestic in scale and beauty. Anna Clyne's meditative work, THIS MOMENT, reflects on loss and grief in recent times, but finds inspiration in the potential of life and future. LSU professors Johanna Yarbrough (Horn) and Paul Groves (Tenor) join the LSU Symphony in Benjamin Britten's profound song cycle: Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings. The evening concludes with one of the repertoire's most rousing and majestic works, Camille Saint-Saens powerful Symphony No. 3 - known as the "Organ Symphony".
