- **Event Description**: The Louisiana Art & Science Museum (LASM) will host its annual Dino Day on Saturday, June 28, at 10 AM. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with a Paleontologist as they are introduced to “Jason,” the 66-million-year-old Triceratops skull on display at LASM. 

Dino Day will include hands-on activities from 10 AM to 2 PM in collaboration with various community partners and immersive, dinosaur-themed shows in the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium until 5 PM.  

Visitors will be able to experience “Jason” the Triceratops, who is generously on loan to LASM by Raising Cane’s and the Todd Graves Family. “Jason” has been an extremely popular attraction for visitors – especially students visiting the museum during field trips – since 2016.  

BASF's Kids' Lab chemistry workshops will also be offered at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM for children ages 6-12 and their accompanying adults, and BASF’s Pop-up Science will present STEAM-related engagement from 10 AM to 5 PM for visitors of all ages. 

General museum admission includes all Irene W. Pennington Planetarium shows, as well as all hands-on activities and BASF’s Kids’ Labs. Admission to Dino Day is free to LASM Members. For more information on Dino Day and other public programming, visit lasm.org.
