This conference brings together students, educators, families, and local leaders to celebrate the work young people at Tara High School are doing to explore justice, history, and lived experience through action research.Your presence matters! For more than 70 Humanities Amped students, this conference is a public “performance of possibility” that concludes a year of academic programming. By extending their learning beyond the classroom and making intentional community space for their research, we communicate to students that their voices and perspectives matter. The impact on their lives is enormous: students share with us that these opportunities prove to them that “I can do a lot of things I thought that I couldn’t.” Help us celebrate these students’ achievements by joining us on this journey toward justice.
