Dr. Usner will explore the complex and often overlooked experiences of Indigenous women in the American South, shedding light on their resilience, leadership, and cultural influence through history. This talk is part of our 2025 theme, Women’s Work: History Through Her Story, honoring women’s contributions across communities and centuries.
