Baton Rouge - Colorectal & Prostate Cancer Screenings

We will be providing free colorectal & prostate cancer screenings in Baton Rouge on August 23, 2025. To make an appointment or for more information, please call us at (225) 425-8034 or visit marybird.org/get-screened.
**Appointments are encouraged. Walk-ins welcome.**

Colorectal Cancer Screening Information
Easy-to-use take home screening kits will be distributed. Men and women age 45 and older who have not been screened for colorectal cancer in the past 12 months are eligible. Does not replace a medical examination or other screening procedures.

Prostate Cancer Screening Information
Includes a PSA blood test and a physical exam performed by a physician. Available to men 45 and older who do not have a doctor or who have not been screened for prostate cancer in the past 12 months.
