This will an opportunity to network, engage and learn new perspectives and resources for helping our most marginalized children.The last few years have been a game changer for our children in many ways most of us couldn't have imagined, but frankly it has been a difficult time for our children for a long time. We, the village, are the solution we have been seeking.This year we are focusing on the status of marginalized children and reviewing the following areas:The Legislative LandscapeThe Gun CrisisBuilding Cages and Extending LeashesNo Safe SpaceThis year's symposium will offer a special pre-symposium book signing at the River Center Branch Library on Thursday, January 29th from 6 pm – 7:30 pm by journalist Nico Lang. As many are aware, our LGBTQ youth have been under attack, including the from removal of the dedicated line in the 988 system to being subjected to extremely high levels of suicide, cyberbullying and becoming unsheltered.
