History Talk: World’s Columbian Exposition Chicago 1893 – When Bathurst Shone on the World Stage

Did you know Bathurst was showcased at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, better known as the Chicago World Fair? Come and hear Kim Bagot-Hiller talk about when Bathurst shone on the world stage.
The Exposition opened on 5 May 1893 with representations from 46 countries. The Colony of New South Wales sent people and exhibits on a long journey over the water to share what the Colony had to offer, including displays from Bathurst.
Who were the people that represented Bathurst on the world stage? What were the exhibits?
