- **Event Description**: Help us to grow the Forest of Avon - We're welcoming volunteers to help us plant trees, woodlands and hedgerows across the West of England!About this EventWe need help planting trees to create the native, broadleaved woodlands of the future.Join us in restoring nature at Bathampton Meadows! Help plant 9,000 trees and shrubs across 8 hectares along the River Avon, creating a rich and diverse habitat for wildlife, contributing to this beautiful landscape.All tools will be provided, including gloves. You will need to wear appropriate footwear with good grip and ankle support, weather-appropriate clothing and bring your lunch. Wellies are recommended as the site can be very wet in the winter. Toilets are available at the nearby pub.Please do not refer to Eventbrite map for location as it does not allow us to give specific directions to the planting site.
