Built to Belong - How cohousing could help resolve the housing crisis with Sam Goss, Barefoot Architects
Cohousing is not co-living. It is design that centres citizens in the creation of their own homes and communities, results in quality that matters and aligns with sustainable development goals. Join Sam Goss as he demonstrates the approach through multiple award-winning projects, including Hazlemead in Bridport, winner of the 2025 RIBA National Award and Housing Design Award.
Barefoot Architects is an award-winning practice specialising in ecological, regenerative design and creating homes, housing and community-led projects rooted in ethical values doing the right thing for people, for places and for the future.
Sam Goss is a founding Director leading on a wide variety of projects, with extensive experience in community-led work. His interest and experience is in sustainable, low-energy, low impact architecture.
